House Of Bread & Pastries Elwood

I drive from the city every weekend to come to this restaurant for their delicious coffee and cinnamon donuts. I have tried many dishes here and always have positive things to say. The freshly baked sourdough rye bread is especially outstanding.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely unfriendly. There is no greeting or conversation with customers. The barista made the coffee out of order, ignoring the line, and immediately took the money without a word. It seems like the French have taken over.

Rude staff, no service, cold coffee, average food no toilets. It is not worth a visit. Try another place.

You can always find something delicious to eat at this bakery, whether it be healthy or not so healthy options. The Lamington kisses with cream inside are particularly amazing.

This place is a god send! Just down the road from us it does a huge selection of breads, pies, cakes etc. We've been multiple times and everything we've tried has been great. While it's not speciality the coffee is good quality for a bakery, staff are friendly, prices are reasonable and there's so many different things to try you'll never get bored!
