Tijuana Flats - Glen Allen

As soon as we walked in, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. We even had the pleasure of meeting Sarah, the marketing manager, who embodied the southern hospitality the region is known for. She took the time to share the history of Tijuana Flats with us and personally visited each table to chat, which was a nice touch that showcased great customer service. We kicked off our meal with chips, queso, guacamole, and salsa, paired with beer or sangria. The drink options included beer, sangria, and sodas, which was great. Next, we tried the Atom Bombs. I’m not a fan of cream cheese, and these had quite a bit of it mixed with cheese and jalapeño. Despite that, they were delicious, and I learned that you can even add chicken or steak to them, which is a nice option. After that, we had the Mexican pizza. It was tasty, although I could do without the shredded lettuce and would have preferred a bit more jalapeño. Then we tried the steak and chicken quesadillas, both of which were well-seasoned and flavorful. Finally, we indulged in dessert. It was rich in chocolate, and although it didn’t come with chocolate syrup, it was quite sweet. While it may be a bit too sweet for my taste, I think it would be just right for most people who enjoy sweets. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! The prices are very reasonable, and they even have happy hour specials Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM with $2 Corona drafts. On Tuesdays, you can get two tacos, a chip, and a drink for just $5.99. So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Tijuana Flats and give it a try. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

I really enjoyed the food here. Although there weren't many staff members working during my visit, they did a great job. However, I would be concerned about how things would go during a busier time. Update: I've returned during peak hours, and the service was good each time, with the food getting even better. The hot sauce bar is a lot of fun for trying out different flavors. I absolutely love the sweet chili sauce!

This is a great little Tex-Mex restaurant! The highlight is definitely their hot sauce bar, which offers around 12 to 15 different kinds of hot sauces to sample. The portion sizes are generous, slightly larger than what you'd expect at a fast-food restaurant. I've consistently received good service, and the food has always been delicious. My kids really enjoy it, and we've visited several times.

Delicious Hot Sauce bar is the bomb ! I reccomend the one with Fruit in it I think raisin something. It 's a vinegar based sauce but will surprise you. Oh 'get it WET '

I absolutely adore this charming little Mexican restaurant. The food is always fresh, the staff is consistently friendly, and the service is quick. The hot sauce bar adds an extra fun and delicious element to the experience!
