Pastabella - GLEBE

Service was wonderful and very personal. eating was incredibly separated with fresh ingredients until perfection. very nice sitting out of the back. would definitely recommend and eat again.

When we entered, we thought of no, but they were sitting on the back and it was quite pleasant. eating was most pleasant, but we felt that the garlic pizza was common. the gnocchi was beautiful and served in an interesting bowl. all the portions. very large. personal very nice. we're coming back.

We have been going to PastaBella for about 5 years now and it’s THE BEST pasta you will ever eat in your life. Tonight I had a gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce with crushed roasted pine nuts that was unbelieveable, my husband had the fettuccine marinara...with garlic/ olive oil that is what he has been having for years and is still unbeatable! Our last trip to Italy we said how amazing that PastaBella down the road from our house was better than what we were having there! Best pasta in Sydney, hands down!

I have enjoyed a quiet meal here before. I arrived at 1800hrs, and checked if they were open. The owner said yes and directed me to a table. Water arrived promptly. I immediately ordered spaghetti bolognese. For a period of time there seemed to be...no-one preparing food. A couple received coffee. Many others arrived. orders taken. Final straw during my hour long wait was a table of 6, who arrived 40 minutes after me was served their pasta before me. Obviously at 1800 they actually weren't open. No-one recognized my food wasn't coming. The wait staff should have at least recognized something was amiss when I went out to the car to top up the parking. Don't make my mistake of assuming competence or care of customers. I should gave got up and ranted about my lack of food. However I was tired and pretty grumpy and that is never a good combination. The locaiton is easy to get to and the restaurant is cute and cosy. There are plenty of meals to choose from. I had the ravioli special (spinach and ricotta) with the Rosa sauce. The ravioli was fresh and delicious, and had a rich flavour....The sauce was creamy and flavourful, but wasn’t too strong. Service was quick and very friendly. I’ll definitely be returning to try some of the other delicious pasta dishes.
