Bidra med feedbackI recently moved to Connecticut and was searching for a great sushi spot when I discovered this restaurant. The price and quality were fantastic during my first two visits. However, yesterday I had a very unsettling experience. While I was enjoying my sushi and had requested spicy mayonnaise, the waitress brought it to my table, and I was horrified to find live flies swimming in it. This has completely turned me off from returning to this place. Please be cautious if you decide to visit!
The website states that the restaurant is open until 9 PM, but when I arrived at 8:34, they refused to take my order. If they're only going to close early, why not update their hours? I feel like I wasted my time going there! Food rating: 3/5.
The waitress then went to get her manager, who began arguing with me, insisting that we should appreciate the fact that they remade the meal. I had to clarify nearly three times that we understood it was a remake, but we just didn’t want it. When the bill arrived, we found a 20% gratuity added, despite our party only consisting of four adults and one child. The service was far from acceptable, and they certainly didn’t deserve that tip. I would not recommend this place at all and have no intention of coming back!
This is the kind of overpriced place where you take your boomer great aunt when she wants to brag about how cultured she is. I didn't spit it out, but the rice was dry, the sushi bland, the Wasabi was a disturbingly florescent green, and the tea and miso soup was largely chalky in taste. The atmosphere is that of a higher end sushi establishment with the food quality I'd expect out of a stop and shop pre-made section... unfortunately the price reflects the former. There are other sushi places near by that will give you a much bigger bang for your buck don't let the shiny decorations fool you
The food is good, but will never return after a very unsavory interaction with the staff because we received the wrong food. The error was on their part and they took no responsibility for it. Treated us like we made they error when they in fact packed the wrong order and gave it to me. No apology and rude attitude
