Bidra med feedbackThe side restaurant is called The John Muir room. A shade hard to find and even the bill does not use that name! Great table for 4 by the coloured glass window was good and private, few eaters today, and one waiter. The table rocked so we fixed that for ourselves. The card machines were bust so we had to find the cash! Cullen Skink £8 was creamy and good. The Steak pie £14 OK, but the chips were cheap and tasteless. Muscles large or small portions looked fine. Coffees OK. The red white we chose was £26 a bottle and fine. ADDED together food and service did not shine and I wont be returning. 10% service was added to the bill.
This is an excellent spot for dining and enjoying drinks. In the summer, they have a charming terrace. You may even spot men in kilts here during one of their numerous wedding celebrations. I highly recommend their delicious food.
Absolutely sublime, brilliant atmosphere the staff are just incredible, especially Cathy Sebastian and Dillion at the brassiere couldn’t have asked for better service, the food was just delicious absolutely top nosh!! the surrounding are just beautiful will 100% be back and I will be highly recommending this stunning place, it’s a must visit love
Honestly the worst food I’ve been served in a restaurant in quite a while!! Burger plonked on a plate and Mac cheese which tasted like it came from a tin.
What a great place at the top of the Road. Open late and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Great atmosphere.
