I'm a regular breakfast out person and have sampled lots of places in Shawlands and Pollokshields. I had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon here this morning and have to say it was really delicious. Moist eggs, fresh, crusty, toasted bread and particularly​ good bacon. Very generous portion. My friend had her croissant with her own pick of ingredients, not on the menu and they were really accomodating to her requirements. Also, very reasonably priced for the area. Definitely a favourite from now on!

I have visited this restaurant several times. The eggs benedict is delicious, as are the cakes and coffee. The service is consistently good, friendly, and professional. It's a lovely cafe for a meal or drinks with a great atmosphere.

The restaurant serves excellent coffee that always comes with a small treat such as a biscuit, cake, or chocolate. The sandwiches are of high quality and clearly made with care. However, as a vegetarian, I must deduct one star since non-vegetarian places tend to have fewer options for me to choose from.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. It can get quite crowded during brunch and lunch, but surprisingly it's quiet in the evenings, even though the menu is top-notch. Make sure to check their opening hours if you plan on going at night, as they are not open every night.

Without doubt the best food wash on the south side and an absolute bargain. I am now several of my own, sometimes on my own and twice with big parties (one with 15 people). every time I am very happy with the very friendly and attentive service. other restaurants should take lessons from waiting staff! service side, the real reason why I come back again and again is that I love eating. I love eating good. it is very hard to get places where the cook is as good as the guy here. every dish is stunningly good. even the suppe is only wow. most places offer suppe that would get them home with a half decent recipe book and a mixer. this place has to have harry potter in the kitchen, as the last suppe I had here was just magie. I'll call her and I'll call you tonight. beautiful surprise for the family.
