The Novelist - Gilbert

This is a small restaurant inside of a restaurant. So a little tricky to find. It had a really cool ambiance and the lighting makes for a great date night. We really enjoyed the food here. The burgers have a very soft and sweet bread roll for a bun. Wealso liked the ceviche which had more flavor than we normally have. The garlic shrimp was good, but don't plan on making it yourmeal. There are only 3 shrimp on the plate. The food overall was very fresh and with high quality/healthy.

The ambiance is very nice here. The wait staff was super attentive and helpful when needed. We ordered two burgers that were just run-of-the-mill. The mac and cheese burger could have been better. Seems like they used a box mac and cheese by the tasteof it. I wasn't impressed.

It's a fascinating spot with delicious and intriguing dishes. The service was excellent, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. There are plenty of dining options in downtown Gilbert, but I highly recommend putting this place on your must-try list.

AMAZING restaurant! We discovered this gem while heading to another place. The artwork on the walls caught our eye, and we were curious to check it out. The manager, Chris Twilley, welcomed us outside and shared details about the delicious food and the restaurant's theme. We decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be fantastic. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all EXCELLENT! I wholeheartedly recommend The Novelist. It’s a bit hidden, so you'll have to search for it, but you definitely won’t be disappointed!
