Roy Rogers Restaurant - Germantown

I love some Roy Rogers I try to go any chance I have received that I have in several locations in the DMV areas. I wish they were going back to the neighborhoods near where I live. I am a huge fan of Roy Rogers It was also my very first job in 1984 when it was the place on Silver Hill Rd in Suitland MD.

That was the best place to ever eat!!!! Yes, it's fast food, but the food is sooo fresh and so good!! I could eat here every day if we have one in Columbus Ohio!!! I love the fresh fruit and fresh salads!!!!

Roy Rodgers was always a favorite of mine in college. You paid a bit more but I felt you got more at a higher quality. I was happy when the group decided to revive the chain years ago. I ordered the basic cheese burger meal. The burger is a good size and the fries were freshly made. What makes Roy Rogers great is the fixins bar. With a nice choice of vegetables to add to your burger it makes it a real meal. It is clear everything is recently cut and fresh. The numerous sauces round it all out. I enjoyed my burger piled high with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, boom boom and horseradish sauce. The fries were crispy, not greasy. A nice meal. A bit pricey at nearly $9 but everything is these days and the quality is several steps above McDonalds.
