Dropped into Son of Elk for a quick coffee and ended up staying for lunch, which was just magnificent. Let me start with the coffee, I admit I 'm a coffee snob but Son of Elk 's version a Long Macchiato was right up there with the best I 've had. A good strong coffee, presented with the Macchiato ribbons and hot … absolutely spot on! Next lunch. I went for the pork belly bao buns which did not disappoint. Beautifully presented, fresh and with a bit of spice that was again spot on. And as for the offerings in the display cabinet, fresh, vibrant and just good food. Son of Elk … I will be back!!

Today I stopped here to get a chai latte on my way to what was going to prove to be a full on day of meetings. The atmosphere is warm and hoemlike as soon as you walk in ylou have the feeling of being at home. The staff are warm and quick to serve, the service is excellent and I would highly recommend this little cafe to anyone wanting high quality qucik and attentive serviced at excellent prices
