Poor staff attitude, over the top interpretation of covid safety guidelines. Disappointing as have previously always rated other local Costa's
I visited Costa Mapperley and the week before the area manager was in an this perticular member of staff asked me how I was etc. This week the same lady barely recognised my being there. If you aren't happy in your work, get another job as Customer Service in todays visit was woeful
Called into Costa after finishing work on Sunday 31/1/21, I ordered medium Mocha ,Flat white ,two pieces of Tiffin. What I received was a Large Mocha ,no Tiffin . I paid,expecting to be given the Tiffin afterwards. I didn’t get it and what with the wrong drink I was very disappointed. We are always in Costa Mapperley and my experience is normally very good. I will be going in again,probably today,(1/2/21 as we normally get first class service,which is why I was disappointed with my visit.
The staff in this shop are on a power trip especially the young blonde lady, they do not take customer feedback at all and if they don’t like what you have to say they ban you. I’ve never been so disgusted with a Costa franchise, this one keeps the VAT reduction unlike 99% of other Costa Branches and prioritises delivery orders over customers waiting in the queue. When I politely fed back that I didn’t agree that Uber Eats orders should be prioritised and walk in customers shouldn’t have to wait 25 minutes for a coffee I was advised that I was banned. Since when is it criminal to feed back poor customer service?
