I absolutely love this restaurant and its ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delightful. I ordered the French dip, and it was fantastic! This place has a fascinating history and serves great food. It's a hidden gem located slightly off the main route, but it's definitely worth a visit.

I really appreciate the additions to the menu. Hog Heaven BBQ is incredibly tasty. They also offer all-you-can-eat catfish! I'm so thankful for this experience.

I enjoyed half a dozen raw oysters and the restaurant's homemade onion rings. Everything was fantastic! The onion rings were perfectly cut—not at all heavy or greasy. The oysters were a lovely size and tasted wonderful. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and answering all our questions. It’s a great place to dine!

This place has been popular for many years. And it certainly deserves the excellent reputation it has. The food is authentic southern seafood and well made. The whole menu is delicious. I live 300 miles away now, but make a point to eat here when we visit Jackson County.

I was in the area on business during the summer of 1970 I always remembered this place. They had a buffet business mans lunch with all the seconds you wanted with iced tea for $1.25. These were the best tasting lunches ever had nothing like southern cookin! The dinners were excellent too. I know this is ancient history I lived the at Longfellow House which is mostly gone know sorry to see that.
