La Cage Brasserie Sportive - Gatineau

I really enjoyed this place . Is literally what you expect a pub with lots of drinks choices and pub food but ut was actually good . The place itself is very spacious and offers lots of seating . When you get seated down you're welcomed with some popcorn . We got the salt and pepper wings and the buffalo poutine the portions were huge and tasty . I really enjoyed both. Prices are very fair for what you get and srrvice was quick and friendly.

This sports bar with a family-friendly atmosphere is fantastic. The restaurant is divided into a traditional bar and a lounge area, both beautifully decorated in a modern style. The highlight of the place is the large television screen. The menu offers slightly elevated sports bar fare, which can be a bit pricey. It's a great spot to grab drinks and an appetizer while watching a sports game.

This restaurant is definitely geared towards men, as expected from a sports bar. It is filled with hockey stick light fixtures, baseball bat railings, and countless TVs showing sports games. The focus is on beer, but surprisingly, the food was quite impressive. The club sandwich I tried was above average and worth the higher price. I returned and ordered the salmon with caper sauce and arugula, which was fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The choice of mashed potatoes as a side was a bit odd. The service was excellent on both visits. My only complaint is that they only offered instant coffee when I requested decaf with my dessert. It would be nice if they also offered real coffee to go with their desserts.

This restaurant is a great spot for group gatherings with a good beer selection. The food is tasty, with the ribs being a standout choice due to their two different accompaniment options. I chose the sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese, although the latter was not very impressive - the pasta was overcooked and the cheese was lacking. However, the service was exceptional and definitely worth tipping generously for. They even offer fish for children, which is a rare find. While a bit pricey, it's the perfect place to grab a drink with friends and watch sports.

Welcome to the Cage a Music. We went here hoping to watch Sunday football and the bartender was kind enough to put on the sound for the Indianapolis Colts game. Woo hoo! !! Oh wait were in Quebec and the game is in English : Although there were 6 people around the bar speaking in English the sound was turned off in 15mins and we were told a client wants the music back on. What am I and my wife. Chopped liver! Don 't go here unless UFC is playing on saturday nights when they freely play the show loadly in English. Dual standards and hypocrites abound.
