Chiquito Gateshead Metro Centre

Haven’t visited this restaurant in man years, decided to pop in with some out of town friends, the service was quick and the food was tasty but my only concern was the lack of portion, paid £13.50 for a burrito and about 6 tortilla chips, for the portion I got I would say was easily overcharged by £4, small complaint but feel it’s worth mentioning, nevertheless, atmosphere and servers made the evening a little better, very polite staff

The service in this restaurant is shocking! Complained about the waitress telling me 2 minutes when I said excuse me” She then walked past me again to ask another waitress to speak to me. I told the waitress what had just happened and that I was disgusted. She said the Manager had been informed but she didn’t even come over to see me. Food was not worth the money and I will never go back here. They spend more time chatting with each other over seeing to the guests.

We both lovely meals I had ribs my wife had steak both cook to perfection with great and friendly service and good atmosphere a lovely place to eat

Yo so we head on down to Chiqz the starters were lame as hell they were so small and not extra D licious, £8 each for 3 TINY unfilled dry tacos. the server was hella slow cos it’s just mainly teenagers who work there , and it was a Saturday night but the place was legit half empty ! The mains were good, but took a long time to come we had to ask shawty come serve us y’all cos she jus Wuznt

I came up from manchester to visit family and they took me to chiquitos in the metro centre. I work in hospitality myself but i was blown away by the service i received from hayley she was very attentive knew that i had an allergy she went above and beyond to make sure i was provided a meal that was safe to eat. I will definitely go back to my job and take some of hayleys approach with me.
