Beautiful setting perfect for our friends wedding, The meal after wedding was lovely and also the room was lovely. Our room which we stayed over in had a few problems and they gave us a discount when we checked out. We would recommend this hotel. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

There was no one in reception when we arrived so we had to go to the restaurant to get our room key. We stayed in room 24, which was a double and it was a large room but could do with a bit of an update. It was clean but the fixtures/fittings had seen better days. The lights above the bed were wobbly, the toilet roll holder and toilet seat were too. Shower pressure in bathroom was good and there was a hairdryer in one of the drawers The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything being screamed by the family next door who let their young children run riot until 1am bouncing off the beds and running about crashing into things. Not the hotels fault but still not what you need after a 9 hour drive. There is no air con so rooms were hot. We were too exhausted to ask for whether a fan was available from reception. Although room service isn’t available they will pop food on a tray for collection. The food we did have was good. Breakfast was quick but a little on cold side. Ample parking and there is a lift up to the first floor.

Well, lovely location. Room was OK, but the bed was definitely a disappointment. Mattress was like jelly, any movement sets up waves... Food was very good ; simple but well executed. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 5
