Mcdonald's - Gardnertown

Always polite and as fast as possible, these people work incredibly hard yet still manage a smile pretty often, sign of good management.

It probably seems crazy to review a McDonald's- you pretty much know what you're getting when you go there. However, the employees there are absolutely wonderful and it's worth noting. I have lived near this particular McDonald's for years and there must be some amazing leadership or training going on there, or they just know how to hire fantastic people, because the employees there should be commended. You are greeted with a smile and kind words even when the place is busy. They treat you like they actually value your patronage and are happy to see you when you receive your order. They interact with customers with warmth and good humor and it's why you want to keep coming back to this one, even when there are two other McDonald's within minutes of here.

I'm not sure if it was just me, but I haven't had a burger as good as this Big Mac in a long time. The bun was wonderfully fluffy, and the meat was just right.

I visited the drive-thru today, June 23, 2022, around 10:48 am, when unexpectedly my car broke down. I was unable to move it or remove the key from the ignition. Fortunately, four wonderful employees came out to check on me. Just as I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, my car finally started again. I was able to back up and park it properly. The staff were incredibly kind and concerned, asking if I was okay and if I needed assistance. One of the employees even brought me my order and informed me that it was complimentary. You all truly made my day! I can't thank you enough! I also called to let them know my car was parked in their lot, and a lovely lady assured me they would keep an eye on it. Thank you all so much!
