Captain D's - Gardendale

Chicken, fish , shrimp, and all the sides were delicious Also the tea was great. Love when I actually get to enjoy my tea from a restaurant. Pretty quick service. Will be back in future.

The lady at the counter barely looked up from her phone, did not smile once and tisked at me when I came back to the counter and interrupted her from her phone again for a few condiments. The bathrooms, both, were extremely dirty. Drink area was a mess. Note, we were the only customers at the time.

This is the second time I've eaten at this location and this time was much better than the first time! The food was delicious and hot, service was good, and the funnel cake fries were amazing!

The food was good and hot the service was fast. But the restaurant itself could use a little cleaning.

I walked in to find the door wide open and no one inside. I was relieved that I wasn't a robber! As I was leaving, the manager came in with what I assume was her boyfriend. She mentioned that they were getting a late start, which isn’t a great sign for the owner of this establishment. This happened on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:45 AM.
