Bidra med feedbackVisit: 9/12/23, review: 9/14/233.5 stars but no option for a half star.Would’ve been unfair for other 4-star rating places if this visit ranked 4.Service improved compared to the last visit (a couple of months ago). They were more attentive and changed our grill timely.Place remained clean. Early dinner time would allow you a spacious dining zone.Plenty of parking spots in the lot on Tuesday around their opening time 17:00-17:30 ish.The meat was disappointing some this time. Mainly the pork cheek. It was limited to one per table, you could choose small (5pc) or large (10pc). We asked for large with 9pc being served. Not really care about the but the quality was not good this time. You could tell from the color, half of them were freshly pink and another half were dull. I did not think they would’ve been bad as it’s a BBQ place where the freshness of the meat is essential. There was an unfresh taste of the dull-colored ones. Tasted like the meat was thawed for a prolonged period. The brisket might look crazy with the super frozen presentation, but they tasted fine, had regular texture, and had good portions. The rib eye was average. Would’ve loved more with better texture though. We loved the marinated pork neck and LA galbi more than the marinated boneless short ribs. First time trying pork neck and loved the soft texture. Mildly sweetened and not salty. Favorite of the night! The LA galbi was fresh and well-seasoned. Loved the thick cut. Also recommend the beef tongue and the fresh pork belly. They were fresh. The pork belly would require extra time to cook cuz of the thickness, but very satisfying when taking a bite of it.The spicy baby octopus was good, too. Chewy but not hard to chew into pieces to swallow. Just wish the portion would be bigger.Overall still a good experience with a reasonable price. Would’ve been 4 stars if not for the poor taste of the pork cheek.
Good value ayce Korean BBQ for the area. They have more cuts of meat types for the money and the service is great. Lots of beers and soju options too. Parking is plenty and it's right off of Western so it's a good stop before you go home , definitely better than sitting in traffic.
On Google maps it said closes at 10:30. I got there at 9:20 and kitchen was closed. Waste of time.
Great experience overall! We came on a Friday night, which might be the busiest time of the week for many restaurants. The plaza is small, but we found parking right away.We walked in asking for a table for two, waited less than 5 minutes. They set up the table with a salad, silverware, and sides BEFORE you sit down. I felt like this is really efficient! The menus are on the wall right next to every table. We got AYCE set B. Was $35 per person and worth it!The quality of the meat was very good, very fresh! The waiter was very attentive and checked in with us multiple times to place orders, to change our grill, and refill sides.10/10 on all fronts, even though we came at the busy hour.Vegetarian options: On the menu, I saw an option for vegetarians to pay $9.99. I didn't use this feature, but I liked the inclusivity.
A LOT FOR YOUR MONEY ?? A bit sketchy looking upon arrival (but my coworker promised us this was his go to spot) Really extensive meat menu, a lot of options. A lot of side options. We went with option A on the menu. Tried Soju for the first time, tastes like juice BUT IT PACKED A PUNCH! Dem intimate lighting. Complimentary lollipops. Good service, very attentive. NO PARKING, be prepared.
