Bidra med feedbackA serene atmosphere and a quiet temple lodging! The vegetarian cuisine is also excellent. I thought it would be terribly cold, but there was a gas stove in each room, so it was not cold even in this season! The morning prayers were conducted in a proper and solemn manner. They even lent me a knee blanket at the entrance! Truly a kind and welcoming temple lodging that I would like to visit again!
I stayed at the restaurant on a snowy winter day, and it was very cold because the hallways were left open. During the morning service, I felt my own immaturity when I heard the fluent Dharma talk from the head priest in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
This was my first time staying here. I participated in a service starting at 5pm in the evening and again the next morning at 6am. Writing my wishes on sesame wood, listening to the chanting of the monks, and hearing the crackling of the sesame wood burning created a solemn and peaceful atmosphere, which I enjoyed.
