Was here for breakfast Saturday morning 16/09/23. It 's fair to say I 've visited here on at least 6 previous occasions in the last 3 years and generally no complaints. Unfortunately our food yesterday was very poor. The 3 of our breakfasts came out warm to cold. Even my wife 's coffee came out practically cold and she had to ask for hot milk to warm it up, but even that came to the table just warm. The grilled tomatoes were obviously taken very cold out of the fridge and blasted for 30 seconds under the grill because they were warm on the outside and still cold inside for 2 of our breakfast. My gut feeling also was that the fried potatoes on the plate were reheated from being previously cooked, possibly the night before being that it was breakfast time. I asked for a 2nd coffee, and it wasn 't till we decided to go, and I was about to say cancel the coffee that they suddenly remembered it and of course said it was on the way. To be fair, the coffee was the best part of the breakfast, and even though I finished my breakfast, this was simply because I 'd a long day ahead of me. My wife made very little impact on her breakfast and apart from the toast, she ate very little of it. Overall disappointing because I have enjoyed this place previously

Delicious food, beautiful environment and very inviting.

Atmosphere would be much more pleasant if there was some fresh air in the place. Big windows allow loads of light, and none are open to let some fresh air in.

Just went in for a takeaway decaf coffee and it was delicious and the staff were very helpful and so friendly the restaurant looks amazing as well as the menu! I'm only sorry I didn't have time to try the gourmet food menu, I'll definitely make it my first stop on my next visit to salthill!!!!
