Bidra med feedbackI've lived in 5 southern states and this place has the BEST brisket I've ever had. The owner said it was smoked for 18 hours; it tasted like heaven. The wings were super flavorful and the meat just falls of the bone. The mac n cheese was creamy and had a nice slight spice to it. I loved that it was not just sprinkled cheese over oiled noodles like you get with most places.
This food is solid. I am from the South and prefer charcoal to smoke, but I'd eat here again. The brisket was tender, pulled pork pretty good, cole slaw was different, but not bad at all. Seemed to have a mustard/vinegar base. All in all, we liked it.
Really tasty yet a little expensive. Owner really cool! Not a restaurant but a warehouse for catering but you can still eat outside.
Brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, wings, ribs, Mac and Cheese, beans, potato salad, corn bread(I'm not usually a fan of corm bread, but this was great! are Excellent! Great service! Best to call a day ahead and ask what they will have certain days to ensure you get what you want. If they don't have it, they are happy to work with you.
The food may be good, but I wouldn?t know because I kept getting ghosted by the owner. I called the restaurant to order trays of food for a reunion bbq I?m having. I spoke to the owner who said to deal with him directly. He gave me his number and instructed me to text him my order, so that he can give me a price. Never heard back from him. I called Mr. Mackie to get a price and he said he will send it to me the following day. He didn't. This went on 3 times, so I decided
