Delicious Food! We ordered the Brazilian Chop Salad, the Prime Rib Sandwich the Classic Burger with Fries a Half Caesar Salad. From arrival to departure the staff was friendly, attentive on top of every thing even though they were very busy had a full crowd. The atmosphere with both the inside outside seating was awesome too. We will definitely go again soon.
First time going to a Red Onion Grill. I have to say it was pretty good! The staff was really nice, and they kept us happy. I got the South Carolina Burger. It was big and juicy. I ordered it medium well, but it came out a little closer to medium. That wasn't a big issue though. I really enjoyed the truffle parmesan fries. They were super good, with a prominent truffle flavor and light parmesan texture, they did fries a good service. My family got other various things, such as chicken wings, salad, and a caprese flat. They all enjoyed the food they got as well. The prices were a little much, a bit more than what you might expect. If I'm ever in the area again, I would be willing to eat there another time!
I really enjoy the food here, and service is alright. But there is room for improvement. I have more than once gone here and they have been sold out of things. Once it was no veggie burgers and second time no shrimp. And they have always only every mentioned it after taking the order to the kitchen, so I 've pretty well decided on what I want and no longer even have a menu by the time I find out. Servers should know what they don 't have when you are ordering. Also, the most recent visit had pretty slow service. They have a weird division of labor where the bartender is literally eating her dinner at the bar while the server with multiple tables waiting on checks and food is packing up to go orders. We had to wait awhile for our food, and we liked the flavor and preparation, but the whole time we could here the chef in the kitchen hollering and carrying on in what must have been quite the emotional outburst. All the while the staff are apologizing to customers for the communication issues with the kitchen. The owners of this place need to get in there and tighten things up a bit. I really want this place to succeed and not having items in stock, slow service from the kitchen, and not using staff 's time efficiently isn 't going to keep them open.
We ordered the food through DoodDash. The burgers were way overcooked. Burned is actually a more accurate description. I’m very disappointed.
