Paramount Grill - Gainesville

A small and charming restaurant. We had the fondue with chicken, mushrooms and bread. It was divided among 3 people and it was generous, hot and tasty. We ordered two different salads. Both were fresh, super dressing and a beautiful size. There were two orders from the files. 41. Also here, cooked as ordered and a beautiful size. The sides were delicious, including fresh asparagus. I had the shrimps and lobsters with spinach and spinach spaghetti. It was filled with real garlic cloves. It was buttery and delicious. Our server was Jessica and she was attentive and explained everything. It is made for the perfect Christmas Eve.

My friend and I go to the Paramount Grill for special occasions or for a cozy Sunday brunch. The Entrees are not your standard offer. The menu offers some unique choices that will get us out of our comfort zone, just what we know. The staff is always very pleasant and we never feel rushed. We definitely want to go back.

Unique, beautifully presented decisions. Very reasonable lunches. Had black salmon over black bean cake, excellent. Very good service and a pleasant experience.

We arrived at 1230 a.m. and said we had no tables. I had to ask if there was a table available, although I had a clean one on the way in. I said we had a table out there. as the host who left to grab the table setup and she went by without words and expected to follow her. her ton was very rude and unwilling. the server that brought us water, however, was very pleasant. but the harm was done that we wanted to go.

I'm ashamed to say I've lived in Gainesville a very long time and this was my first trip to Paramount Grill. I've always heard great things and it certainly lives up to their reputation. Delicious pesto chicken salad sandwich for me, full of flavor, not a crumb left on my plate! My fellow diners were all very satisfied as well.
