Uaucacau - Funchal

I only recently heard about this place via a youtube video and I wanted to give it a try. After finding the place in Funchal I looked at all of the different chocolates and truffles with interest. Picked the traditional flavours of Madeira (Poncha, Madeira Rum, Passion Fruit, Madeira Wine Sugarcane Honey) I took them back to the hotel to try them. Oh my goodness these were the best chocolates I have ever tasted. They were so good that I bought a big box at the airport before heading to my flight and going home to have it later. I hope they do deliveries outside of Portugal because I would definitely be a regular customer.

Well we had a day in funchal ,we did the toboggan run not really what we thought it would be but we did it then a nice walk down the front and into the market we dropped on this chocolate shop and had the most amazing cup of hot chocolate we've ever had we think its made with melted chocolate if you are close stop in grab a hot chocolate or some chocolate to go loads of lovely chocolate and great service 100

We visited this coffe for many times during our staying in Funchal, and their coffe, tea and desserts are so good and very good price.

€2.30 for the best coffee and cake of your life. That's all you need to know. Just try to get a table when you can. PS I recommend the hot chocolate.
