O Tapassol Terrace - Funchal

A minute walk from Dorisol Buganvilia. I came here twice for lunch during my one week stay in Madeira. I came a second time for two reasons. First, the staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. Second, the food was of high quality and had lots of flavour. I ordered the Espetada on my first visit and had the grilled cuttlefish on my second visit. The fish soup is also excellent.

Delicious food, great service! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is around. Steak was on point, and the pepper sauce is just delicious

Yesterday we were looking for a place to eat something local. We went to a small restaurant where we were welcomed with friends and offered local specialties. We disbelieved that fish and squid can be so well prepared and served. To say it was delicious is still not enough. We highly recommend and will definitely come back to you. Thank you ! Just wanted a light lunch, happened across this place as it seemed to be the only place that served sandwiches so in we went.......Thin steak done to perfection in a griddled roll with salad, wonderful chips, great staff and not expensive......We`ll be back!
