Kurgartenrestaurant - Friedrichshafen

The location on the sea is excellent, and it is a nice place to enjoy a drink on a quiet summer evening. the quality of the kitchen has, however, declined steadily in the course of the years. the place that once served excellent dinner is now only. averaged best. the service also seems to have gone a step down. the main advantage of the place is now to make larger parties to dinner home.

During the visit of the friedrichshafen seehasen fixed on the last Saturday, 18th juli, I decided to eat in the cure garden restaurant for lunch. the restaurant has a beautiful location and I sat on a table that looked out on the bottom lake. while eating was excellent, my joy was at the meal. by a group of drunk louts that are disturbed at a nearby table sitting. these hits were very loud and angry, but I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw that one of these groups dropped his shorts and went to some female guests. they didn't seem too unbiased, but maybe they were just afraid to complain. the same individual then went down with his shorts around the terrace (completely suspending his genitals). when this group finally went, this hooligan went directly to me, said eating (forget your meal) and laughing (with his shorts below). all this time the restaurant staff did not make any action. I can understand that they were afraid of this aggressive group (some of them wore tshirts with Nazi slogans), but I think it is unacceptable that they allowed this behavior to go and not the police. the other guests were all in the middle age respectable people and I cannot understand why this group was served by the restaurant staff at first place. despite its good food and excellent location, I will not return to the curgarten restaurant.

I can't check the restaurant as we haven't eaten here, but I can confirm that, after running the length of the friedrichshafen lake front, this facility is amazing. it is on the far end of the water promenade to foot and is well worth the trek (OK,...so it is just a mile, but this is a walk to me) and the intention to make the waiter service for drinks, the garden chairs and tables, the ambiente and the toillettes are perfect, especially when the temperature rises! my wife and I, with two German friends, were somewhat desperate for a drink, the length of the peaceful harbour kais gone, and then we found the curgarten restaurant! the seats were so soft, we could have been sleeping, but the view over the bottom sea was so spectacular that it was impossible to do so! if I say that we stayed almost transfixed, for at least two hours, while sipping a drink, it would not exaggerate the truth. that was really one of those moments in which one would have paid much more than the cost of each drink to enjoy the landscape, the serenity and the rest of such a heaven on earth. who could imagine that this could be found in Germany!

Every day at the coffee time with ice cream, ice cream, cake ... very nice. beautifully located, terrace above and below.
