Friday Harbor Ice Cream

Fantastic staff and great flavors! People complaining about the price are a little crazy, keep in Mink location and its also not so bad price. My favorite is the pop-rock ice cream sounds strange, but you have to try it)!

Cash only! A single scoop in a cup is quite generous! Our favorite flavor is huckleberry cheesecake, but they offer so many unique and delicious options! There’s also a lovely area nearby with a few benches where you can sit and enjoy your treat!

We sampled the lemon meringue pie, huckleberry, and pineapple coconut flavors. The lemon meringue was fantastic, and the huckleberry was quite delicious too.

I've gone twice in the past 2 days (it's a bike tour and I'm a hard core ice cream nut). I think the customer service comments are the perfect storm of stressed ferry crowds and overwhelmed employees. I got the sense it is a two way street of both parties not being polite. Solution? Just go in the off hours. Be a good human and read the signs. The ice cream is elaborate and the selection is clever. If they accepted credit cards that wonderful price would go up. While I have a flare for the high class cones and amazing scoops of Portland it was certainly a wonderful vacation treat. Definitely recommended.
