The cooks should be jailed, and sentenced 10 years for murdering the food! The calamari was rubber overcooked in burnt grease... dark as dirt from the side of a road... the artichoke seafood dip appetizer was an assult of the senses and an insult to culinary institution. The oily top layer of the dip was reminiscing of a broken foster home. Salt? Yep, we use that! The only other food I have eaten that is comparable as being over salted is McDonald 's French fries ? ... to the point it burned my taste buds. We haven 't even touched on the service.... or lack thereof. I expect so much more from coming to the islands. People all over the world come to Friday harbor... and if they eat here..... they are coming to be disappointed and let down. I seriously would not return or accept an invite for a free meal. If a friend said... Hey, meet me here for dinner..... .... I would have to lie and say I was not able to come due to illness.
