A great option for sushi. The restaurant is always bustling, which suggests that the fish is likely to be fresh. The presentation is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming for newcomers, although it's not quite as charming as it used to be. I assume this is a popular spot for locals?
This restaurant serves the best sushi in the city! The sushi is fresh, delicious, and offers a diverse selection. The service is good and friendly. However, this location isn't as beautiful or modern as the one in Figengarten.
The sushi presentation is impressive, with generous slices that are delightful to eat. The customer service is vibrant, and the overall dining experience is both unique and enjoyable. The space is a bit small and cramped, but the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a good time, definitely check out their latest location in Fig Garden!
I had heard about whatabi talking and was uncertain what to expect. it was the first sushi restaurant I ever went into. the first impression after the passage through the door was that this place was legitimate. the atmosphere is very funny, but at the same time relaxed. white and black with red accents fit really into the pop music playing about the in home speakers. preparation is all in the open at the sushi bar, but there are also waiting staff if they want to sit on a table. when selecting what to get from the menu, remember that a majority of menu items are not like most other sushi places in size. the items here are big! we ordered 4 different dishes and were completely filled with a little left between us. so I recommend 1-2 dishes per person depending on their likes, but a good size court is more than enough to form a full meal. this is definitiw a plus considering that most sushi comes with a hefty price tag. I found the price of the items were very reasonable considering how big and qualitatiw what we were serving. the taste was fantastic, not a fishy taste that suggests that what we were served was top quality and fresh. well managed and prepared. my only complain with the taste is that I ordered the spiciest thing on the menu, and it wasn't very sharp at all, although it was still very delicious! the ingwer and wasabi on the side served was wonderful, I would argue that even men who will not enjoy in the rule ingwer this will enjoy (the firm is used to clean the palette between the items) and prepare them for the next bite. if they are new to go sushi and not yet a reference, they would recommend to check one of the few washabi sites in the garden. this location is more for an intimate time with friends in a light and fun environment.
