Bidra med feedbackOne of the hidden gem when it comes to Indian food restaurants. We went for lunch today. We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka, Garlic Naan and Lachha Paratha. The food was amazing in taste, decently priced and good in quantity. The ambiance was nice and restaurant was clean. Server was attentive. What else to ask for! Definitely going back :
We visited just to check out the chaat items this time. Tried Paneer Pakora, Dahi Aloo Papdi chaat and Sev Puri for 2 of us. It was wo fulfilling that we decided to skip lunch and come back some other time to dry the vegetarian delicacies. I'm extremely happy with the preparation, quality and pricing. The fact that it is a vegetarian restaurant is quite assuring for me. We fear to eat in outlets that serve non-veg too, because you can't tell if they have mixed up
We frequently dine at Veg N Chaat for their North Indian dishes, chaat, and especially the Mirchi Pakoda. Last month, we catered for around 45 people and chose catering package #1, adding Aloo Vada. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, and served warm, with generous portions. The Aloo Vada and Dal Mix Veg were particularly tasty. Everything was prepared and ready on time, neatly packed, and they made sure it was well secured in our car. Our guests enjoyed the food and even asked about it afterward. - Jayendra
We ordered a variety of items: Pakoras, Tadka Dal, Aloo Parantha, Makki Di Roti, Vegetable Biryani (medium spicy), Chana Masala, and the Veg n Chaat specialty. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were quite generous. Despite dining with four people, we ended up with plenty of leftovers. I particularly enjoyed the Pakoras, which had a light and crisp texture thanks to the seasoned cauliflower-based breading, especially when paired with the dipping sauces. They were a definite crowd pleaser. I also have a fondness for Aloo Parantha, and this one was perfectly soft with a great balance of bread and filling—in contrast to other places where I've encountered overly stuffed ones. The Makki Di Roti was another highlight; its corn base made it an excellent choice for dipping into the various curries and salsa on our table, and it was hearty enough to share. The Vegetable Biryani was well-executed, well-spiced, and had a nice kick to it. I did accidentally bite into some bay leaves, so watch out for those, but I couldn't resist going back for seconds as I enjoyed the other dishes. The Chana Masala was a classic example of a well-made masala; I found it easy to enjoy, with the chickpeas cooked to perfection. The Tadka Dal was also enjoyable, though I don’t have specific feedback on it other than it was recommended as a vegan option. I had originally thought to order Spinach Dal, but learned it wasn’t vegan. The Veg n Chaat was definitely my favorite dish of the evening. I love coconut milk-based curries, and this one was outstanding. I would absolutely order it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The service was friendly, and our food came out fairly quickly, especially since we dined on a Monday night when the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The interior had an under-the-sea vibe, and they played acoustic covers of classic pop songs, giving the place a nostalgic feel. While the atmosphere was charming, I wondered if leaning into more authentic Indian music could enhance the experience. If I find myself in town again, I would definitely return, and I think that's the key takeaway. The value for the price is impressive, and there are plenty of options to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences.
As for the food, we decided to order a variety of dishes. I must say, the Pani Puri here is the best I've ever had in the United States. The Kulcha Cholle was outstanding, bursting with flavor. The Aloo Parantha, Paneer Pakora, and Chaat Basket were also quite good. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, and we finished our meal in no time. I highly recommend this restaurant!
