Bidra med feedbackI was drawn to the restaurant's unique blend of cuisines, featuring both Thai food and French crepes. As I looked over the menu, I also got some Vietnamese influences. We decided to order the green papaya salad and the garlic fresh fish. I was surprised by the heavy batter and thick, gooey sauce on the fish. I thought about getting a dessert crepe, but the combinations seemed a bit unusual. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, earning it just 2 stars. The mismatched melamine plates stacked near the hot prep station and the requirement to request a complete set of cutlery, including a butter knife, felt off.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in at least five years since I moved to San Jose, but my daughter was craving a crepe, and I was in the mood for Thai food, so this place popped into my head. I was amazed by the generous portion sizes of the quality food we received. The service was incredibly friendly; they kept checking on us and refilling our water. Our food arrived promptly, and I will definitely be returning!
The indoor decor is quite lovely, but we ended up sitting outside because the fish smell inside was overwhelming. The food was just average. We ordered the Greek dish, which was delicious, and the veggie crepe, which was disappointing as it only contained spinach and a few pieces of avocado, lacking any flavor. The Pad Thai and roti paratha were both good. However, I did not enjoy the Tom Yum soup as it was too sour and salty for my taste. I was initially drawn in by the fancy decor and wanted to enjoy a meal indoors, but overall, it was just okay, and I don't think I'll return.
Food was fair- portions big (especially the rice), but the pad see ew was a bit sweeter than I’m used to. It had a healthy amount of broccoli, but the flavor was also somewhat overpowered by the broccoli. Pineapple fried rice was good, but weweren’t fans of the raisins. Would have given 3 stars, but adding an extra star for very prompt service despite how busy itwas.
Great little place with amazing food. Lots of vegetarian and Vegan options. Has a good collection of sweet and savory crepes and Thai food was great! (just according to the spice levels mentioned on the menu . Service was good and quick! Some of the itemswe tried and loved were the chicken satay, curry fried rice, brownie cheesecake crepe(worth a try! . Will definitely recommend avisit!
