Chipotle Mexican Grill - Fremont

The young staff here seems to have little regard for the food they serve. It felt like they were just slapping things together without much care. The counter where they prepared my order was so dirty with food scraps that I nearly walked out. Instead, they slid my bowl right through the mess before handing it to me. The line was 20 people deep, and after waiting so long, I didn’t want to leave hungry, especially with my young son in tow. I won’t be returning. There really should be a manager on duty to oversee things. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I heard numerous complaints from other customers while I was eating.

I ordered online with the intention of saving time, but it always ends up being a wasted effort. Completed online orders are placed behind the cashier, and I stood just two feet from the register for 10 minutes without anyone offering assistance. I noticed there were 2-3 people in the back kitchen, yet we were made to wait over 30 minutes. I understand that there can be a long line and that the staff may be busy, but why not have ready-to-go online orders available on a shelf for self-pickup, as other stores do? If orders can't be prepared in a timely manner, why not inform customers to come back later? What's the point of placing a pickup order if it takes longer than waiting in line? This same issue happens every time I try to pick up food there. On Labor Day during dinner, they even locked the doors at 6:45 PM because they ran out of their main ingredients, white rice and black beans. The Chipotle on Mowry has terrible service. This location is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Ordered a kids build your own online. I got kids fruit and this is what they put in the bag. Extremely disappointed as I usually have good experiences here. I will be going to Newark chipotle from now on. Place needs to be shut down giving people moldyfood.

Please please do not go to this chipotle location!!!! I am always a fan of chipotle. But very disappointed here. The reason you do a pickup is to avoid waiting in the line. If you somehow end up waiting in the line for a pickup order to get ready becausewhen you arrive at the location to pickup they are still preparing order for those who ordered half hour before you, that?sreally disappointing. These guys are the most laziest chipotle staff I have ever seen. For 9.00 pm pickup order they have noteven started up until 9.30 pm and when they are about to make order they say that they are out of gaucomole. How can you expectnot to have gaucomole when you order veggie bowl. Are you kidding me ?? And this s the not first time this happened. I ended upcanceling my order. Honestly I regret going to this place and wasting my time. Also the food (rice) s not cooked wellsometimes. I guess when they are in hurry they don?t cook the rice well. Overall I would like to say, avoid this location ifpossible and chose some other location near by.

The staff may be a bit slow as they train new employees, but the food is quite good, and there is plenty of parking available. Additionally, there is ample seating to accommodate a large number of customers.
