Bidra med feedbackThe location of this restaurant is interesting as your access to it is from a road that is on the left and then industrial parking on the right side. Nestled in what looks like business offices, this Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant / Dimm-Summe-Esserei is where you will get a combination of Hong Kong Cafe and dumplings as your choice of meals and food. This place is medium sized on the inside, but is very family and at home feeling, but on the rather narrow and narrow side regarding space and table positions with options to eat outside on the terrace. It is not a polished environment, but rather an open format. Something like what you could see in San Francisco's Chinatown restaurants, so you expect to eat right outside where you can see the servers and chefs and waiters do the work, which is traditionally behind a counter or hidden behind the kitchen wall. This is not a problem because I have often believed that food speaks for itself and that the presentation is something that can only be part of the background as long as it does not interfere with your food experience. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a screaming game on today's visit between what the manager seemed to be and a customer who ordered food online and had not yet received his food after 40 minutes. The manager seemed to have started with 2 tables in the middle of our meal and she seemed to have no empathy for the customer. Our friend had pointed out that the ordering of food online from this place was spotted and that their experience said that you better call on the order and avoid the online experience together. Now a note about the food itself. This dimm sum is your classic choice of dishes, but not the classic dim-sum experience, which means they don't turn around the cars to see what is available. Instead of like many other Dimm sum restaurants now choose from a list. Check what you want to order and prepare it and bring it out. The food was made fast and quickly came out and was a typical dim-sum aroma. But I did not find it remarkable and more usual in terms of taste and experience. That's not bad, it was just average. I don't think you'd be disappointed, and if you take care of the sum of dim, you can satisfy your desire here. If you are like me and you are raised with Asian restaurants that are not polished and refined and are all right with the possible market type service drama, this is a rather cozy place without much of the imagination circumcisions. I recommend that you only want to fulfill a classic Chinese food range. Pro tip: They do not serve you by default water or they simply do not have this day. If you want water, make sure you ask for everything because they only bring you the only cup of water. That was the case for our table of 11. Water for everyone is not a given or even a consideration and if someone else wants water you to be better specific.
Overpriced, Terrible Walnut Shrimp Lunch Special. I think it was $16? A crazy amount of rice with a little shrimp. The rest of their food is good if not this dish
I love eating here! My favourite is the shrimps and pork dim sum
ANNEX afternoon yay dim sum in trays ready to go $5 3 egg tarts .50 for going packing???? Clean unisex rooms that have been called to pick up happy BK Bistro now has no egg pie order when I came in to still no indoor eating, beautiful outdoor terrace with parasols, and toilets are unisex and open to customers on the right side of pickup table at the bottom the hall at the end of the left to ask forks to live; were not stuck in sacks.
Got dim sum here. Each entree is minimum around $5. I thought the shumai was nice and juicy. Tofu Skin roll is also decent but a little oily. Order on a paper and items are brought out.
