Bidra med feedbackThe service was good and we were made to feel welcome but as soon as we were brought our drinks in the can's with straws in; I could sense it was going to go downhill. The starters came out and they were huge portions, but...size is not everything. The starters were okay but nothing to write home about, way too much food though. A while later our mains came out, very staggered considering there was one other table of two in with us. My curry looked awful, it was warm and looked like green slime. I had a few bites and had to stop, the chicken was fatty and unpleasant and the sauce was far too salty, we took all the leftovers home (there was a lot) so we didn't waste our money. Then we got to the bill and the less than impressive meal set us back $171 for 3 people?!! Wouldn't go back if you payed me.
I found the Haandi on TripAdvisor also the location on the google map was wrong (the restaurant in in the town center and not in Amma St. The entree were perfect especially the Samossa I recommend that you will order this dish. For the main...course we had the fish in coconuts milk and chicken lentils. The food was delicious. The service is good and we will come back again in the near future.
This Indian restaurant consistently serves excellent food with attentive service. The appetizer menu is especially good and they handle takeout orders well.
My group of six friends who enjoy Indian cuisine chose to dine at Haandi Indian Restaurant in Fremantle. We were highly impressed with the quality of the food, the generous portion sizes, and the overall value. One standout feature was the comfortable level of noise in the restaurant, allowing us to easily converse without having to yell. It was a refreshing change from other loud establishments, and we were able to enjoy our meal while engaging in lively conversations and laughter. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
There was a lack of communication at the door regarding a private event, which meant the restaurant was not open to the public or taking bookings. The atmosphere was extremely loud, with loud music that resembled a clubbing style. It was too late to leave once we had ordered our food. The staff appeared to be undertrained and unsure of what to do, leading to us having to find our own menus. The portion sizes were average, but the food was very saucy and bland, lacking any spice. The prices for the food were too expensive. Overall, it was an unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience.
