Freeport Cafe

Nice local diner that seems like it's been there forever. Pretty good menu with large servings, reasonable prices, and better coffee than I expected. Right on Route-1, between Day's Crab and the Best Western. Been there twice, and no complaints. Steep stairs in front, but there's an accessible entrance on the side (the back, when looking from the street).

Best blueberry pancakes around! They are perfect every time and are the size of a dinner plate. The haddock sandwich and reuben are also delicious. Fast and friendly staff too. A+ all around!

Truly the best breakfast we?ve had during our 2 week tour of Canada and Maine! Eggs were cooked perfect, the hash brown patty was spot on, and it was so much food that I had to take 1 hash brown and the biscuit to go. Btw the biscuit is HUGE!! I highly recommend stopping in for the best breakfast you will ever have!

Stop for breakfast and discover a great morning meal to start the day in Freeport, Maine. The excellent coffee (with abundant refills) warmed us to a late summer, cool morning and the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks again for the fast service!
