Mi Rancho Authentic Mexican Food

After reading the reviews, I decided to try this restaurant. I enjoyed the chips and salsa, as well as the piña lemonade, which had the perfect amount of sweetness. My boyfriend loved the beef nachos, but unfortunately my 2 combo meal was not so great. The food came out quickly, which made me doubtful. I ordered 2 soft chicken tacos with rice and beans, but found the meal unappetizing. Overall, this spot did not have authentic Mexican food.

Oh my gosh, people! This place was absolutely one of the very best restaurants we've ever been to. I had the biggest, most flavorful chicken street tacos ever. Lee had the Poblano and taco lunch special. Portions are huge; So much so we brought enough home for supper tonight. Our server, Valeria, was delightful.My skinny Margerita was excellent as well.Top this all off with the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in at a Mexican restaurant (think Buc-ee's.)Driving from Norfolk to Mi Rancho in Fredericksburg is not too far for such a great meal.Thanks, y'all!!

Best spot!My wife and I are Mexican restaurant search and try people.My go to meal is chili relleno.This place is on the top of my list.Food, service, management all fantastic.Our server, Valeria was menu and margarita knowledgeable, big plus.Although we were passing through we do plan to return.Get the fresh guacamole!

This isn’t my first time ordering here and although the food has always been fresh/authentic and I have always felt like I have gotten my money’s worth, that however was not the case today. I ordered online the Mariscada Mexicana and paid $28.09 which included a tip and all I received was the seafood in the seafood broth with fresh tortillas. There was so much missing from the order that I didn’t realize until I got back to work. Then the guy who brought my food to the counter held onto it until his co worker came back to the register and then asked him if I already paid (I don’t think he realized that I speak Spanish fluently).Again, this place has great food but just make sure if you order online to check your food throughly before leaving the restaurant.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. Despite attempting to mimic El Patron's style, they fall far short. Our waitress did not speak English and had to use her phone to show us the specials, resulting in confusion. We ordered table side guacamole but received guacamole dips instead. After several attempts to correct the order, we finally received our food over an hour later. The waitress charged us for the incorrect item and the manager refused to adjust the bill. It's not about the money, but the principle of getting our order wrong due to a language barrier. I paid the bill but will not be returning due to the poor treatment. I usually don't leave reviews but this experience left me very disappointed. For a great Mexican restaurant, I recommend El Patron or El Viejon where the food and service are always top-notch.
