Berryleaf - Frederick

This is my go-to spot for boba when I'm in Walkersville. I absolutely love their Thai milk tea! The staff is incredibly friendly, and their food from "Wok In Wok Out" is also delicious! The employees even offered us some great recommendations, which I really appreciated. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant!

It was my birthday lunch, and I was excited to enjoy a wonderful Vietnamese meal. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We waited for almost forty minutes, and when our food finally arrived, it was cold. The portion sizes were small, and my noodles resembled overcooked white spaghetti. The sauce was watery and lacked flavor, and no extra condiments were offered. It felt like someone who had no knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine was in the kitchen. It was a real letdown, and it's hard for me to leave negative feedback like this.

This is the best boba spot around! Each drink truly highlights the flavor of the tea, and the boba itself is soft and delicious. The chai has a unique taste compared to typical American chai, leaning more towards cardamom rather than an overpowering cinnamon flavor, which nicely complements the Assam tea base. The brown sugar tea is just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the tea’s flavor to shine through. I'm very pleased!

They have the best tasting boba drinks in Frederick. The varieties are well balanced and not too sweet or milk-heavy. The boba menu has a wide variety for kid and adult tastes.
