La Cabana - Frechen

The colleague who invited us to La Cabana has lived in Argentina for a while and knows his way around a good Argentinian steak. He said it was the best on Cologne area. The restaurant is run by an Argentinian family and the interior of...the place seems to feature a lot of original Argentinian elements. The selection of steaks is really impressive (there are at least 4 steak types which you could have in different sizes mine was 300 grams). And the prices are rather reasonable for this quality of meat. The meat is excellent (and supposedly imported from Argentina) and well grilled. We also had delicious sausages and salad with palm tree stems.

The steaks and actually everything from meat is highly recommended here. This Argentine restaurant is proud of its great grilled food and right! We never did a bad experience with one of the steaks we ordered here. Prices are a bit...high, but worth it, as the service is very friendly and professional and the environment is very cozy, as well as inside and outside. The complementary dives with freshly baked baguettes that they offer are also delicious. If you are in Cologne or just in Frechen, you should come here and enjoy a nice evening with great food. The only reason I did not borrow 5 stars is that the secondary dishes (Mushroom Heads, Veggies from the Grill etc.). come in very small portions, are bit expensive and overall not so good. But hey, who goes to La Cabana for the secondary courts: It's about the steaks here!!!

If you are near cologne, this is a great place to go. The resto has character, the staff is friendly and courteous, the food is great alla over both in quality and quantità and the price is extremely reasonable. You can't ask for...more, really. So if you enjoy good meat and a hearthy athmosphere, you will fine a good place here to dine and relax.

This is the perfect steakhouse in every sense. This is my go-to restaurant for a proper steak in Germant. I have gone already about 100000 times. The food is incredible. It always cooked to the exact point you have ordered, and it is served promptly...and always perfect, The staff is spot on, always helpful and they always make you feel like a VIP since the moment you enter the door. And have a look to the train running over the main saloon. I love it!

Has to be the best steak in europe if ever were in frechen on a overnight stop it is the place we have to visit friendly staff and what has to be the best steak available anywhere in fact im writing this after just getting...back to my hotel.
