Since I was born in Frauenstein, I know the Hotel Goldener Stern quite well. On October 21st, 2023 we had our class meeting there. It was a very pleasant atmosphere and nice and polite service... you can just feel at home... The food was also very good!!!! The hotel is centrally located on the market square. The rooms, like the restaurant, have been renovated and are comfortably and stylishly furnished. Frauenstein itself offers few attractions apart from the castle ruins and the Protestant church on the market. Rooms: Our room. The second floor was easy to reach with the elevator and was sufficiently sized. We particularly liked the large bathroom. The comfortable double bed was equipped with medium-firm mattresses. Nearby activities: We really liked the wooden figures in Blockhausen Food drinks: The manageable breakfast buffet is served in a room next to the restaurant. The food in the restaurant is served quickly, is good and is in the medium price range. The portion size is rather small The staff is friendly and competent
