Shavan's Indian Restaurant

The food at Shavans is still delicious, and we have been loyal customers for over 20 years. We have watched the restaurant grow into what it is today. The service was friendly and efficient. However, the reception/management staff should be more careful about where they have disagreements. The menu is extensive with great options for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. While Shavans is no longer BYO, it is still family and children-friendly. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

My girlfriend and I went out for dinner on Saturday night and were extremely impressed with everything. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a lovely elevated view and a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. We started with the tandoori lamb cutlets as an appetizer, followed by the beef vindaloo and chicken kadai for our main course with rice and garlic naan. The food was not only delicious but the service was excellent as well. Our server, Dipthi, took special care to answer our questions about spice levels and recommend her personal favorites from the menu. Our host, Devar, was very welcoming and made sure to check on each table to ensure the guests were enjoying their meals. It was clear that he has a passion and dedication for the food at the restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning.

My boyfriend and I decided to dine here after shopping for groceries. Although we initially found the prices to be a bit high, we were blown away by the quality of the food. This is the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted, and it has quickly become my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it with a rating of 10/10. The staff also provided excellent service.

We went here on Saturday night and it was superb. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. I have to mention that the owners cousin/nephew is an absolute asset to your business. He was incredible. We were a table of 6 women and he made sure we were looked after the entire night. I haven’t had service like that for a long time and we all agreed we would be back very soon. We are regulars to your amazing takeaway but since covid have been hesitant to eat out. The Butter chicken is the best anywhere as is the coconut prawns. The samosas are to die for. The service has blown our minds, friendly, attentive and courteous and only to willing to help with suggestions and pairing dishes. Then the main attraction the food! Wow, a taste and sensory overload just as the menu describes. The portions are extremely filling and not to be underestimated. All great value for money Can’t wait to be back for more as the dining experience was sublime.
