Bidra med feedbackWe ordered Biryani and Chicken 65, Shrimp 65. Starters are good. But limited quantity. Not worth for the price.Biryani is not good. Masala flavor is not enough for the rice quantity. Sides given for biryani are not good. Overall is 3/5.
Today I picked up a family pack around 8.45 pm. Within the past 6 days, this is my second family pak pick up or take out. The lady was kind enough to accommodate my request for extra raita. However I am finding rice portion is disproportionately high compared with chicken portions. Also the chicken pieces I got are not the best ones. They are below average. I know this is a harsh commentary. However my goal is for you to keep up the quality you are known for. If you need to increase the cost from 28$ and make it 35$ for example for a family pak, you will not lose customers loyal to you. But if you continue to serve sub standard chicken pieces and compensate for lack of chicken quantity by extra rice portion, slowly you will start losing your customer base.
Unfortunately the quality of Roohi Biryani has fallen drastically. I used to eat and enjoy this biryani all the time. Was one of my favorites in NJ. But now they don’t care for their customers after the appreciation and fame received from customers. My biryani did not have any masala and or any chicken. This was the most bland portion of biryani I ever had at Roohi or any other place. It was mostly white rice which I could cook at my home. Plus they don’t want to serve onions or salan even in a tray of biryani. The quality here is deteriorating with no goal of serving a biryani. Would advise to visit some other place.
Best Haleem that one must not miss!!I waited to have food in this restaurant for a long time by reading all the reviews about biryani and Haleem. Finally we tried here chicken special biryani, goat biryani, Haleem, bheja fry.I loved their mutton Haleem. It was good in taste with the nuts and the quantity was also good. The chicken biryani was also tasted good, but there is less spice by default which made biryani little bland taste. However if it was little spicy then it would have tasted the best. Make sure to ask them to make it spicy, so you will enjoy the biryani. Their goat biryani had well cooked mutton pieces. It was good in taste. Their salon and raita was also great. We asked for extra salad and raita which they provided us. The funny thing is they serve egg in the mutton biryani which I never seen anywhere. The bheja fry was sweetish in taste, which I felt average.Their food was fresh and hot. No food was wasted. I loved their concept of giving food in the takeout containers, so that we can take them to home.We will visit again for their haleem and biryani. And next time we will ask them to make biryani as spicy.
Review is for mutton haleem, it had good amount of nuts , barista and fats, quantity was also large. However, I did not like that it had very strong mutton flavor and I could not taste the other flavors/spices. I also got heartburn after eating it. So,I did not find it worthy of 22$.
