Bidra med feedbackHigh hopes for a great wing experience were quickly dashed at lunch. On the upside: the place was spacious, plenty of room for singles and large groups. Lots of TVs, friendly, congenial and attentive staff. Plenty of cold brews on tap as well as many other beverages. In the middle: House Chips were crispy and nicely browned, then topped with a bit of seasoning. Generous portions provided. Sliding down the slope: There appears to be a wide range of flavors and heat levels. (And, granted I will have to revisit to try more...perhaps during their wing bar hour+. Wings are fried sans coating...(as I like it...let 's not disguise a good wing with lots of flour and egg or panko, etc . Medium heat here isn 't really medium by today 's heat index standards; it 's more mild. No problem for the average finger licker. Ginger is very delicately spiced but almost hidden in the fry (even though they 're seasoned after draining. Thai has a light peanut flavor and hint of nutty aroma...but lacks any punch. So, sorry mom...nothing to write home about and the only sensible reason to return would be in the hopes finding some much memorable flavors.
My last review was over 3 years ago. Months ago, WWC changed ownership and revamped a little. Service is still hit and miss, but the food is still mostly quality. Management, barring something that I am unaware of, is a joke. My most recent visit was fine and the server was great. I had a request that was slightly off the menu. The server accommodated verbally, saying no big deal. A few minutes later, she sheepishly came back to me and said, we don 't honor old management. It costs too much money. My request dealt with virgin wings. I 'm put off by three different reasons....but even just one, by this idiot manager confirms to me that my decision to not regularly come back is justified. Btw, I 'm not the only one apparently... in the heart of Cool Springs, this is their lunch crowd
The big top may have closed on Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, but the clown show is alive and well in Franklin Tennessee! My son and I walked into an almost empty restaurant on a Saturday night around 8:30. They had Maybe 5/6 tables in a 50 table store. 4 un-bussed tables near the front of the restaurant should 've been my first clue. Silly me for not recognizing this clear sign of buffoonery. After having two employees make eye contact with me and say nothing, the third finally walks over and asks do you need something? well yeah, your sign says please wait to be seated....... so perhaps I could be seated At which point I sit down with my son only to have three employees walk within 2 feet of our table 3/4 times and say nothing. Not oh have you been helped yet , or hey I 'll be right with you , or even let me go get your server .....NOTHING. After 4-5 minutes, I head to the bar to see who our server is. The bartender wants to know did y 'all seat yourselves? no some dude seated us and walked off, now five minutes later I 'm here At this point she proceeds to tell me that I don 't have to be rude. I decided to return to my table and let it pass......until the dude that seated us comes over and asked if our server had come by yet. Me: Well no, are you our server? Dude: Nah I just got cut, but I can get you one Time to bounce! There are several other chain bar food restaurants within spitting distance of this place. Fridays, Old Chicago pick one. For that matter, just go to McDonald 's across the street. No make that the Exxon Tiger market next-door and get yourself one of the taquitos that has been on the rotisserie since noon the day before. Very displeased with the service my son and I received from Wild Wing Cafe tonight. Not to mention the one night we walked in before 9pm to get a burger only to be told oh sorry we turned the grill off. Seriously? If you 're sign says open til 10 one would expect that you could get some food one whole hour before close right? Obviously not. Maybe I should just learn to love Exxons taquitos.
Wings were okay... we tried hot, medium, Colorado BBQ, and Rajun Cajun. Seems like a cool atmosphere at the restaurant but I ordered for takeout. Wings were not crispy and flavors we kind of lacking. Wingstop, hooters and burger republic have better wings.
This restaurant is permanently closed. Poor management over the years and no customers. They had a very good happy hour and I used to like to go there, but they are done done. Too bad. I liked it, just poor management over the years. Good bye WWC!
