der Goldene Wok - Frankfurt am Main

Closely located on the Main, in the Frankfurter district of Nied. In the basement of the local is the local rowing club with its boats. Red Lampions, a lot of green through small park, enough parking directly at the local in most big cities, unfortunately, a problem inside almost sober kept for a chin. Local, only in the entrance area a large water basin with many plants and turtles could score points. Actually, I didn't want to go to the typical large-scale Chinese with their Al you can eat buffets, but the view of a dinner alone I don't like to! and the very appealing exterior of the restaurant made me weak. I should regret that. Offered in the golden wok is a crossover of Asian cuisine: Mongolian grill, Chinese, Thai, Sushi etc. When we arrived there were still dirty dishes on some tables, we put ourselves in a free window. However, here we had to wait a long time until service personnel appeared and explained how the buffet worked here. There was no greeting and, unfortunately, no adoption later, really welcome at least we did not feel. Instead of the ordered guava juice we received lychee juice. But the toilet was that the waiter had 1 fabric glove, which was intended for the buffet, fell down on the floor in itself not bad, but can pass him up and offered us for the buffet. Despite the large selection, the food offer was not worth mentioning, rather lower average, only the wok dishes that could be put together and then freshly prepared in front of our eyes could tastefully convince me. Even the dessert buffet did not give me any pleasure: canned fruit, prefabricated pudding, pampae cake, so we order drinks to which we had to wait long ago. Despite all this, I had to amaze and e.g. T. Scare to see how my companions filled the plates several times and sat up everything. I will, in the next time, make a big arc around Asian large-scale restaurants with buffets. Sometimes it is less, more ; this motto would certainly have done well to this place.

Our favorite kina here in Frankfurt. Super situated, by public transport and car easy to reach with many free parking spaces. Right on the Main with beautiful ambience. The food is soooo diverse. Teppanyaki with house marinated lamb shooting is absolutely hammer. We order firepot every time. Preparatory dishes also have above-average quality. Some Southeast Asian dishes such as Malaysian lamb are wonderful. Even dessert gets better. The only problem is that you are so full... the Corona time was definitely hard for golden wool. There we were there and noticed that they still tried everything to fight and make customers happy. We are very pleased that it is now in the high standard.

Super!!! The food is always freshly prepared. The team or the boss is very competent and helpful. We always like to come to the Golden Wok. That's the name. More than 5 stars

The food is super delicious and is constantly refreshed. The operation is totally nice and everything is very hygienic. The lunch buffet goes until 17:00 and costs only 8.90€ per person! We've been going for years and it's getting better.
