The Tavern - Fort Worth

Lost our ticket, so food took over an hour to come. All we were offered in apology was free cornbread.

Nice place to take a date.......... No that's all I'll say .

The Japanese salmon was incredible! The blackened Ribeye was delicious, as was the pork chop. We finished with the German Chocolate Cake and the Banana Cream Pie. We look forward to returning soon!

Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait 30 minutes. The waiter was nice enough but he was not that attentive (e.g., my husband ordered the pork chop which was huge but the server not our waiter did not bring a steak knife. My husband had to flag down the waiter which took awhile). The food was very good and we enjoyed it very much. Next time we will make an earlier reservation and hopefully we will not have to wait so long.

This place was amazing! We were seated as soon as we walked in with our reservations. The service was spectacular and should be how every restaurant strives to be. The food was spot on and very flavorful. We will definitely be back!
