The Club Room At The Clyde - Fort Wayne

We had already eaten, so we went there to enjoy the live music. We visited on a Friday night and listened to blues, jazz, and funk—it was fantastic! The Sweetwater All-Star Horns performed with the band. They have live music every day!

I visited for the entertainment, and it was fantastic! The food was just average, and the service left much to be desired. However, the manager worked hard to address the issues we encountered, so I might consider giving it another chance.

We had to wait quite a while for our food, and when it finally arrived, some of the dishes were just mediocre. The restaurant got busy, and it felt like we were forgotten as other customers came in. Our plates weren’t cleared, even when we wanted to order dessert, which took a long time as well. To top it off, we were informed that a 20% tip was expected because of the size of our party. Honestly, I don’t believe that the service warranted that kind of tip. Given the experience, I don’t think we will return. Our bill, including the tip, came to around $300.

The food here is okay, but I always leave feeling like I paid way more than anything was worth. I got spinach and gouda dip in a bread bowl on this visit. The bread bowl was so shallow that there wasn't even enough dip for the four pieces of celery that came with it. It was more accurately a little round loaf of bread with some dip on top. I wanted to show our server, but she went missing after our food was delivered. We go here with friends for the music, but if it weren't for the music we would never go there.

My wife and I decided to give the restaurant one more chance because it looks like the added Coors Light back to the menu! Only to find out that the website is not up to date and they have no interest in bringing that beer back but keeping BUD light and Budweiser. Not sure the reason behind removing it from the menu. The wait staff told me last time I was there many people keep asking for it all the time, in June/July! Maybe they should ask the wait staff what people are asking for last month. The business should not make decisions about big menu changes without consulting with wait staff and see what effect and complaints people are saying. It’s their loss.
