Bidra med feedbackThe food was overcooked yesterday. otherwise as usual experience.
For the first time in over 2 years. enormous improvement of staff and oral experience. we started with cocktails and they were excellent. a bourbon renewal and dirty martini were prepared for perfection. large blue cheese filled olive in the martini. next shrimp cocktail. five large garnels served cold with cocktail sauce. all well prepared and well presented. it would have been nice to have a knife to bite the garnel down, but it worked. it followed the best cesar salad that I served in this antidote. cold and crisp with capern and a hauch of sardels. for the main course we had an actual king and lamp shed. the presentation was nice on both. the filet was medium rare and cold after he was requested medium. the lampshades were beautiful and hot a bit over medium. the carrots on both plates were cold, but the other sweet was good. the arome and quality of everything was well just disappointed at the temperature. robert our server was very attentive, even on a busy Saturday night. we'll shoot this again. a total improvement for stonehouse. we let the new cook and the staff in the kitchen get in and try again.
Our waiter garrett was phenomenal! friendly and super attentive! our eating had perfect timing and everything was delicious! our charcuterie board was a piece of art and had really delicious items. the special and steaks were cooked for perfection.
We love to meet friends in the stone house. the drinks and eating are always fantastic.
Overall, a positive experience rating between 3.5 and 4. However, below my expectation based on others' recommendations and reviews. The bourbon/whiskey list was exceptional A+. Menu was very limited and most offerings are served a la carte. No bread provided. Service was generally good/responsive. However, place setting only included two forks no spoon or knife. Had to track down a server before I could begin the meal difficult to eat a steak or cut vegetables without a knife. Noticed this was the same at all tables. Food presentation was nothing special, and the food itself was average. Ribeye steak was full of gristle and relatively chewy I expect better for $48, and have had better for less. Ordered the smashed golden potatoes and asparagus as sides. Again, nothing special asparagus showed up to the table on my colleague's plate instead of mine. Good ambience though I would consider a minimalist approach to décor.
