Montana's BBQ & Bar - Fort Saskatchewan

I don't know why I expect good service at Montana's because in the 3 previous times we've been to various Montana's restaurants in Sherwood Park, Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan (one time previous but I put the service lacking due to the number of people in our party) the service was terrible and this time was no different...I honestly don't know why we expected better.We arrived and we're given a buzzer to notify us when our table for 2 was ready...so approximately 10 minutes later our buzzer went off and as we were escorted to our table we notice quite a number of tables empty and honestly, there should not have been a 10 minute wait. We were seated and waited again for someone to take our drink order. Finally our drink order was taken and our orders placed shortly thereafter after we explained to our server our displeasure. If we weren't so tired from travelling all day and really hungry, we probably would have left and gone elsewhere.One good thing was our food arrived in a timely manner and our meals were great...absolutely no complaints! I'm giving them a rating of 3 only because the food was good. Montana's, you need to step up your game for service. After tonight, the only way I will be going back to Montana's is with a family function when I get out voted for restaurant choice.

We try this restaurant often as it it located into the southfort inn where my husband stay for work:) spinach dip was excellent and potatoes skin was delicious:) services was really fast :)

A friendly, casual restaurant! We have stopped in for drinks a few times. The service is adequate. The Caesar which is the drink special on Sundays is fantastic! I would describe it as a sports bar a lot of the time as there are several tv's and there is usually sports on all of them! We have also had dinner a few times and the food is always good. We have always had a good time at this restaurant.

Fort Saskatchewan can be a hard place for a restaurant to start. We have been burned by many bad experiences with new openings here. As such, we've waited before trying the new Montana's. We've heard bad things about the start of this place, put yesterday we took the risk and went for dinner. I must say, i was pleasantly surprised! Not because the food was great (it was acceptable) but the service was not too bad. The waiter was in training but the trainer was close, and the waiter had everything covered. He know the choices and didn't need notes to help. The trainer was close, but quiet. We will go again.

By sharing oneentree we always have plenty to eat and room for dessert. Staff are very accommodating to split the dish.
