Podollan Pub - Fort McMurray

Never again! After waiting an hour we recieved Burnt Fries, steak that was mostly fat, had to return chicken wings for salt and pepper as there were none provided on the table, scallops were not sauteed in garlic as described, pinacolida tasted nothing like it should have. Waitress forgot to bring the garlic toast. The explanation for the terrible food was the restaurant began something known as skip the dishes Obviously takeout receives priority. Nothing more than a dive. Staff should focus more on the food and service rather than trying to impress male customers with their attire. their service and food is less than one star

Went out for drinks with my friends the server was horrible. She came around once and we ordered 3 drinks, took about 20 minutes to get our drinks (glass of wine and two sangrias) she told us she was bored and tired. My friend ordered food and it was cold and had a hair in it. Found four black hairs on our table. Never go here. Worst place in Fort McMurray.

Steak was juicy not flavourful. Fries and gravy were delicious. Pasta was greasy, but the Alfredo sauce mixed well with the shrimp and scallops. Service was good. Beer was good.

This is absolutely my favorite pub in Fort McMurray. Whenever I 'm in town, I make a point of going there at least once (or twice). It has a great atmosphere, great food, and an even better drink list. The pub itself is located on the main floor of the Podollan Inn. It offers pool tables as well as plenty of comfy booths and tables to sit at. For the girls, the bathrooms are really clean, which is always a plus at any bar. I 'm sure this is the case for the guys too. The food is really good as well. I haven 't ordered anything off of the menu that I didn 't enjoy. Where this pub really shines is the drink menu. They have a full menu of shots divided into 4 levels depending on strength. If you can 't choose one, they also offer the pool paddle that gives you 4 different shots with a specific theme, such as Hollywood or Super Hero (though beware the Terminator shot, we bought a friend one for his birthday and it was brutal). If you don 't like shots, they also have plenty of beers, ponies (equivalent to 3 highballs), and cocktails. If you 're looking for a nice bar in Fort McMurray where you can actually have a conversation, this is the place to go. Check it out!
