Live Bar & Grill - Fort McMurray

This was an unexpected surprised. Instead of walking into the Keg try the Live Bar & Grill! Definitely deserves a 5 star rating.. very unique and amazing dining experience . Food is incredible!!! Will not disappoint! Fantastic service. If I could give it a 6 star rating I would. 5 of us ordered different options off the menu.. everything was amazing! Can't wait to come back!

I recently spent four days in Firt McMurray pn business, arriving on Monday and leaving mid-day Friday. The only night the Live Bar & Grill was open was Valentine's Day -- and then I could not get in because I lacked a reservation. All other nights it was closed. I had been there once previously two years ago and the chef, who had worked for Gordon Ramsay at his property in Dubai, completely outdid himself. Food that night was gourmet and superb, quite surprising for a basemen-level restaurant inside a hotel in Fort McMurray. I will try to go back on my next visit but if it is closed again then I will not return.

Was in for supper, so enjoyable. The chef is very talented, from the open face lobster ravioli to the smoked duck on mushroom risotto, everything was on point. If you are looking for something beyond fried food and beer in Ft McMurray it's a must try!

They moved upstair after the fire but the food is still the same. Good drinks, food and entertainment. It was a very enjoyable evening with my spouse.

I have lived in 3 different countries (including Canada [2 provinces] and the US [3 states]) and have visited over 20 other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Best meals I ever had in N&S America's restaurants was in LIVE ! I was there twice in May and June 2015. Maybe pricier than other places but the restaurant and meals are really very good. I just don't understand why their fantastic Chief chose the middle of nowhere for his business with a population of only 60,000!
