S3 Restaurant - Fort Lauderdale

Went here for my wife’s birthday. I told them in advance that I was celebrating a birthday. However, they never acknowledged it nor did, nor offered anything special. We went for brunch and wanted mimosas. So, I ordered a bottle of champagne and asked for a carafe of orange juice. The server took the order, then someone else brought the champagne. When I asked him for the orange juice, he said “they just told me about the champagne.” I had to remind the server about the orange juice and he brought me out a glass of orange juice, and said they didn’t have carafes. Eventually, he brought out a glass with a spout and we were able to serve the table. The only thing good about this restaurant was the food. It came out fast and it was tasty. I wouldn’t go there expecting great service.

Loved this restaurant. We rode 45 mins from Miami and it was well worth it. The mix of flavors were unexpected but so good. The best dishes were definitely the Grilled Octopus and the Chili-rubbed Bavette Steak with Yucca. I wish they had the Grilled Oysters but maybe during another visit. We will definitely be back!

Great server. Explained menu and described menu choices to help make decision easier. We had a party of six and server did explain meals would not come out all together. One persons in our party meal came out very late when everyone else was almost finished with their meals and part of an order was forgot. Apologies made and those items where removed from bill. I thought that was good customer service. Overall good experience.

Love this place! Must try the spicy lobster rangoon, and don't skip out on the edamame! The sauce in the shrimp n grits also insanely good. Wish they would have had a manager address the screeching child whose parents weren't doing anything about it their entire meal... Every table was turning to look at them, and they just let the child scream.

Awesome diner for our 8 weddings aniversary and food was awesome!!
