Piazza Italia - Fort Lauderdale

The service was horrible, the food was not good, and it was the worst dining experience I've had in years.

I made an early dinner reservation for 5:00 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was nearly empty. The service was excellent. The food was also great: I had the Spaghetti Bolognese, Caprese salad, and Polpette (meatballs) appetizer. Everything was very tasty, some of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning.

Love Piazza Italia. We go once a month . Great ambience. Great music. Fun atmosphere. Great servers. We can dress up there and be comfortable. It is casual or dressy or anywhere in between. Romantic. You can Sit at the bar or by the dance floor or privately on the side with a long drape for more privacy. Lots of fun

Our dining experience at this restaurant was not as we expected. We had hoped to dine in the cute garden at the back of the restaurant, but were seated on the small patio in front instead, right on Los Olas sidewalk. Despite the lack of heaters on a cold night, we had a fun and very enjoyable meal. The portions were generous and we particularly enjoyed the calamari appetizer and caesar salad. The branzino was also very good. The service was excellent, attentive, and patient. The restaurant has a full bar, a decent wine list, and reasonable prices. Paid parking is available in the back. The loud music made conversation almost impossible, but there is a dance floor, DJ, and community tables inside, attracting a fun and diverse crowd. There is also a Mediterranean menu and restaurant attached, but it was neither attractive nor busy.

Food is always amazing here. Love the atmosphere and decor. Such a great place to dine out with family or for a date.
